Be sure to number / date your letters, and write “Air Mail” and “Par Avion” on their envelopes.
You may also want to write "Dieu te regarde" (God is watching you) on the envelope, to discourage people from tampering with any mail.
Mail can take between 3 weeks and 4 months to arrive. Letters and first-class padded envelopes are generally the fastest shipping options. Express delivery methods (FedEx, UPS, DHL, or US Postal Service International Express) will require me to pay an acceptance fee of $250-$300 (yikes!). So if you do send packages (thanks!), use only the U.S. Postal Service (first class or priority).
Internet access will be sporadic, but I will do my best!
